The GSM 06 is a Vibrating mill for fine and ultra-fine grinding of brittle and fibrous materials. The comminution effect is based on a beating and rubbing action, which is realized by two vibrating grinding vessels with a freely movable grinding media filling.
Operating behavior & mechanical features
In addition to Crushing & Milling, intensive homogenization also takes place due to the grinding media movement within the vessels. The material can be ground dry or in liquid, whereby the grinding media size and type are decisive for the fineness to be achieved. The feed particle size should usually be smaller than 2 mm. The final fineness to be achieved can be up to <1µm, depending on the material.
The interchangeable grinding vessels make it possible to select the material (steel, ceramic and plastic pipettes) according to the requirements of the grinding vessels in order to largely eliminate cross-contamination. The grinding vessels can be clamped in a user-friendly manner with quick-release fasteners. The oscillating frame with the maintenance-free unbalance motor is supported on springs and housed in a sheet steel housing with sound insulation. The stationary mass in the housing ensures that the machine is stable and runs smoothly.
The machine is operated via an app installed on the smartphone supplied.
