Rotary pipe divider
With the Rotary pipe divider, the evenly metered material flow is distributed to a funnel-shaped cone via an inclined rotating pipe.
The Turnstile divider is a Dividers that can be used for almost all products, from coarse coke and highly caked fine coal to finely ground quicklime, thanks to its different design variants.

Operating behavior & mechanical features
The sampled material can usually be fed directly – without prior dosing – into the feeding area of the divider, as the inwardly directed clearing arm ensures mixing and dosing before the actual dividing stage.
The material fed centrally onto the divider plate via the first broaching arm is now transported evenly by a second broaching arm in a spiral movement outwards over the edge of the plate and falls onto a conically shaped sheet metal housing, which is partially recessed. The product that falls into this recess is referred to as the « sample ».
The material that slides over the cone to the center of the divider is discharged as « waste » via the so-called waste channel.
Due to the forced guidance of the material flow through the clearing arms and scrapers, this Dividers works very reliably even with moist and sticky products.
For regular cleaning of the Dividers, some types can be opened up to 1/3, which increases accessibility and minimizes cleaning time.
The division ratio can be varied from 1:4 to well over 1:1000, depending on the divider size and design, by reducing the recess in the conical part using a slider.
